On Wednesday Morning, December 4, 2024, the Trust Regulator organized a dissemination seminar on the “PRAKAS on Obligation of Reporting, Notifying and Requesting for Approval of Trustee”, presided over by H.E. NEY Sakal, Deputy Director General of the Trust Regulator, highly representative of H.E. SOK Dara, Director General of the Trust Regulator at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel. The purpose of the seminar is to raise awareness to the public, particularly licensed/authorized trustees from the Trust Regulator on their obligation in operating trust with effectiveness, transparency and accountability as well as complying with laws and regulations. The seminar was attended by the senior managements and officials of the Trust Regulator, as well as the senior managements and representatives of trust companies, trustee operators providing retention and escrow services (commercial bank) and independent individual trustees.
